Vacuum brazing
SDMS masters all the welding processes (vacuum brazing, TIG, MIG, plasma, Electron Beam,
submerged arc, etc.) of all metals.
Vacuum brazing process
This process allows various heterogeneous metal assemblies like stainless
steel with copper, niobium or titanium but it also makes it possible to
carry out ceramics connections (Alumina) with various metals such as copper,
titanium or niobium.
Vacuum brazing and braze-welding
Hard soldering in which parts are assembled gradually according to
a method similar to that of soldering, but with a type of preparation resembling
that used for welding. A chamfer is gradually filled in a number of runs
with solder and not with the filler metal homogeneous with the parent metal.
Mechanical action is required on the joints to be soldered before braze-welding.
Vacuum brazing
example: Braze-welding of Copper using the MIG process
with Cu-Al soldering (Copper Links).
