The engineers of SDMS largely used electron beam welding and developed processes of automatic welding TIG with CNC : the orbital welding heads were remote-controlled by a miniature camera and an endoscope, thus making it possible for the welders to make immediate corrections and to record the data (penetration, speed, intensity, positions, etc.).

Our welders and operators are qualified in accordance with the new European standards and according to ASME IX, DIN 8560 ou PRA 1102.SDMS maintains more than 300 approved welding procedures : AQUAP - EN 288 - IS 319 10 - ASME IX - CODAP - RCCM - RCCM R - TÜV - PRA 1102.
