Vacuum chamberSDMS is the french leader in the manufacture of vacuum chamber and UHV for Research, micro-electronics, Cryogenics, Space, Nanotechnologies. Vacuum outgassing presents problems for vacuum chamber users irrespective of the industry and the activity performed. The actual preparation of the metal can considerably affect subsequent outgassing of a vessel in which a Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) is created. SDMS therefore appointed a subcontractor who has a vacuum chamber with the necessary dimensions for such welding. There is no universal process for all the possible applications of vacuum vessel. In particular, some processes even have a negative effect at very low pressure ranges (< 10-6 Pa). Due to the specific features of the material, the dimensional tolerances stipulated and the very short deadline, SDMS decided to use this technology for all the very thick weld seams (16 to 50 mm). SDMS therefore appointed a subcontractor who has a chamber with the necessary dimensions for such welding. |
